10,000 [and more]
PROGRAMS FOR CCI
At a recent college homecoming the discussion came up with some students who had not idea of what a charity organization should be or what it might do.
In the course of that conversation it was conceived how the students could establish a college “auxiliary” of CHER and that they could set out to raise funds through the organization which could pay for a project that would benefit them. This project was to earn the funds so the college could have “digital” x-ray.
The cost of such would be around $60-80,000, but with a charitable group, it would be hoped that a final price tag of around $40,000 would be agreed to.
Then it was a matter of either developing the funds or at least enough funds so that it could be purchased, perhaps on time… and the cost would be less than $1000 a month. What could 400 students do over a months time to raise $2.50 a piece……
This could be raised through a canister program in the surrounding community. That is how you work out a solution to something you want …..so!!!!!!
