Various forms of therapy are evaluated for use in conjunction with the corrective procedures implemented in chiropractic care. Massage therapy and all of its form are evaluated to find that which seems to create the best level of response. Acupressure, reflexology and many other forms of therapeutic services area also evaluated. This may also include all of the current physical therapy approaches used to assist in patient care.
CO-OP SERVICES: Various professional institutions will be approached to either use their facility or to join in treatment programs in the Institute facilities as a means of addressing various health and research programs. REHABILITATION: The objective of chiropractic is to achieve the greatest level of balance within the structure of the body, bringing it to a “minimum energy state” or optimum balance. All aspects of the physical sciences that can help achieve that are utilized with consideration of the individual needs and requirements of each body. ACUPUNCTURE: In areas where such services might be beneficial in a joint effort in increasing the healing response or the ability to treat a patient under chiropractic care where such treatment might be too painful or unresponsive, these adjunctive services will be evaluated to improve the conditions of those participating. MEDICAL ASSOCIATES: There are conditions that often require emergency medical attention but may well be served by natural approaches at the same time or as follow-up care. This may include orthopedic surgical procedures necessary due to massive degeneration or injury beyond the scope of care of chiropractic. Yet, once healing is completed, such structural balancing and alignment may well serve to increase the level of recovery. ASSOCIATED SERVICES: All of the other professional areas that could and would chose to work with the chiropractic profession are within this arena. This could reach into all other professions, including medicine, for the purpose of conducting combined health services as well as research programs. |
