BRIEF PROFESSIONAL REVIEW

RAVENIA L. PUCKETT, D.C.: Dr. Puckett is a retired Chiropractor with over 20 years of private practice, working also in the area of clinical director for the Southern California Chiropractic College in Pico Rivera, CA. she as assisted in CHER Clinics longer and anyone and has been a strong advocate for women and children alternative care. Her awareness of the clinical program gives great insight to the board for continued understanding.

RAUL MORENO, D.C.: A local practicing Chiropractor with strong ties to the local Hispanic community. Has worked in the CHER Clinic Program with outside doctors since it conception and continues to be a treating doctor at the Downey facility. Has the desire to bring the CHER Clinic program into Mexico.

NANCY NUNO: Is a legal secretary working on documentation and assisting non-profit organizations. Her organizational skills will assist in maintaining the records and documentation necessary for the Institute to maintain compliant with all governmental agencies.       

JAMES MCCABE, DPT: Has been a supporter of the Coy Chiropractic Institute and CHER Foundation for over 15 years. As a professional and a businessman, he has helped in guiding the board through its financial needs and business activities.

GANG JIAN SHU, PH.D., LLD:  Dr. Shu has been dean of a chiropractic college and worked with the colleges clinical programs prior to obtaining his lay degree. As an attorney, his expertise in the field of international law is essential in the Institutes development overseas.

NEIL SOBEL, LLD: Mr. Sobel has worked with the chiropractic community for over 20 years and has assisted these doctors in handling clinical health cases for them. It is in this area of expertise that Mr. Sobel will continue to advise the board as well as the clinic, on or off the board.

WILLIAM OROZCO: Having serviced with many State and Local officials in various electoral programs as well as committee assignments. He’s involved in the Hispanic community, where he has presented to the CHER Clinic his cooperative working relationships with State programs. His awareness and involvement is California politics is essential for communication at the local and State level of government.

OVENIA F. GOWAN: As a senior citizen brings the perspective of the senior community and has been a chiropractic patient for over 70 years. This assists in bringing a balance to the needs of children and the senior community as to the care rendered in our CHER Clinic.

CESAR N. SOLTERO: As a second year chiropractic student, Mr. Soltero has volunteered for the screening programs with the CHER Clinic for several years prior to his enrollment. This awareness allows for him to take the Institute to the college arena for potential involvement in student and academic programs.

EDGAR GUESS, M.D.: Medical advisor to 4Life Research and director of Beverly Hills Wellness Center, has gone full circle of the medical intrusion to the assistance of natural health products and services.

GWYNN GUSTAFSON: As a Chiropractic patient for years, Ms, Gustafson has been involved with the marketing of the CHER Clinic, which she continues to do in her current position. Her association with the community newspaper allows for exposure to the community of the many programs offered through the CHER Clinic. This as well as her involvement in local charity and service clubs and business groups allows for financial support through their charitable giving programs. Through her efforts we now have our web site to better explain what the Institute is and where we can better serve the communities of Southern California.

ALDA L. SICHTING. PHD: Was instrumental in the formation of the CCI/CHER FOUNDATION, and was President for several years through its growth and development. She also served as a Board Member of Southern California College of Chiropractic and later President and Director of American School of X-ray and Health Careers, Inc., as well as a Commissioner for two local Cities. Through all her endeavors she has worked toward establishing programs for better health for all, especially underprivileged children and families. The support of this woman has allowed the CHER Foundation and CHER Clinic to exist. She was the owner of the first building donated for use by the CHER Clinic and has offered financial support as well as leadership. Her involvement has been essential in the growth and development of the Institute.
